Cub Crap Cream Ale Bread


3 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon plus one grain of salt
1 bottle (12 ounces) Cub Crap Cream Ale beer, at room temperature
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted


Mix all dry ingredients well, add beer all at once,  do not over mix. Bake at 375 until done,  about 35 minutes. Test by inserting your hunting knife, if it comes out as clean as when it went in bread is done.


Rumor has it, you can substitute some off the flour with whole wheat or other flours. A little too fancy pants for us.

Try adding onions cheese or even leafy vegetables, what a great way to get that brat kid to eat his spinach.

For an interesting variation use Bearly Legal Rye along with some caraway seeds.
